Cats across Kent that are up for adoption need a forever home to be able to show their love and affection. Rescued Animals in Need has been helping find permanent homes for cats for more than 40 years across the area.

HOW TO ADOPT A CAT
Prospective new owners are invited to meet the cats or kittens before taking them on.
You may want to meet them more than once at the boarding cattery that we use. We operate a home delivery service which means that we visit prospective owners in your home to make sure the family and the pet are suited to each other. We also make sure that you know exactly what is required in order to take on a new pet.
We always like it when owners keep in touch with us so we can give you advice on how to look after your cat, and hear about how your pet is progressing.
27 October is National Black Cat Day
A time to recognise the beautiful black cats in our lives and raise awareness of those still waiting for a loving home.
As you see we have several of these lovely cats waiting for homes - do you have a place in your heart and home for these often overlooked felines?
In 2017 alone, black cats took 13% longer to rehome than cats of any other colour. We believe in better for our beautiful dark-furred defenders

CHIVERS
Chivers is a classic "marmalade" tom cat - laid back, friendly and confident. He needs to be in a home without any other cats as he is rather territorial.
VINCE
Vince is a very handsome boy of 4 years old and a real character. Although initially he is a bit nervous with new people, once he settles down he is super affectionate and adores lots of attention. He is a lively cat and he can be quite feisty! He would make a loyal and loving pet for an experienced cat owner in a home with no young children.
ABIGAIL
A beautiful, 6 year old, semi-long haired cat who is very friendly and would be happy in a home by herself.
FLUFFY & SMOKEY
Sister and brother, these two were very shy and nervous when they first arrived in RAIN's care but with lots of love and kindness they are now much more outgoing and affectionate. They are very close and are looking for a forever home together with adults only or with older, quiet children. Smokey, sadly, lost his tail in an accident but he is absolutely fine without it.
BENJI
Is a shy cat who is very loving once he gets to trust you. Does not like other cats and would prefer a quiet home.
DUCHESS
Duchess is a beautiful, regal feline who lives up to her name! She is very friendly and will be a very loyal cat who would prefer to have her own domain which she does not have to share with any other pets
FLUFFY & SMOKEY

CACUS
A four year old, lovely male cat who is a little shy at first but very friendly when he has your trust. He has been passed from place to place due to family circumstances and now needs a permanent, loving home of his own.
HARRY
Harry is a big, butch tom who loves to have a rough and tumble with you. He wouldn't be suitable with young children or the elderly and you should be prepared for him to try and eat you out of house and home :)
FLO & FUDGE
This pair of 2 year old sisters are both gentle cats who need a quiet home without other pets. They can be a little shy at first but become confident and very affectionate once they get to know you.
TEDDY
Is a one year old male cat who came to us with his two sisters but would be very happy to be in a home on his own. He is a little nervous now but is very friendly and will soon settle down in a quiet home.
